2006 Franck Bonville Champagne Brut Millésimé Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru (France, Champagne, Avize, Champagne)
A very tasty Blanc de Blancs. 100% Grand Cru Chardonnay from the village of Avize, this is sternly structured, and shows the somewhat typical citrus, apple peel and baked bread characteristics that I love about BdBs. Fine mousse, solid finish, and lovely acidity. It held up well against many more famous BdBs. One to buy a bunch of at the very modest $40 price tag.
